Wedge Tail Eagle captured on an advanced trail camera

This eagle (looks like a young one),was captured on a home made remote activated camera, although tricky to get made up,these trail cameras give a better image than store bought ones.

Using these out on remote country properties I have captured some interesting birds, but this eagle has been of much interest,so thought some here may be interested in seeing this capture.

It certainly is a very nice photo. How do you make a remote activated camera at home? You can get remotes for DSLRs, but the have a limited range and would probably put a Wedgie off. Is some sort of motion triggered shutter release used?

What other birds have you photographed with it?

Yes, I do believe that it's a 1st year bird... WT Eagles become darker with age and this one seems very light golden-brown coloured. Adult birds are very dark, almost black, but still have some tawny-brown feathers on the neck and belly.
