As mentioned elsewhere I spent a week of my annual leave in WA and these are the new birds that I got. I have to do a 2nd sort of my pics to get the races or forms that I also got, ie the WA galah is roseicapillus (grey eye-ring) and the eastern galah is albiceps (red eye-ring).
I will have better pics of some species but that will wait until I have finished sorting all of the pics.
The Mute Swan is feral but is on all Australian bird lists as it has estanlished in Northam.

There is more

thanks Darrin
did you see that I got a Southern Emu-wren, remember I tried for it in Port Macquarie
the Noisy Scrubbird (#2 in post 2) was 1 reason that I went to WA; it is restricted to the coastal heaths near Two Peoples Bay, WA; I got 3 sightings; #1 on the afternoon/evening that I arrived - pics were not identifiable as the light had gone, I met another birder then and we agreed to meet at the same place in the morning; #2 on the morning after, I/we missed the 1st run across the track, I got the pic on the 2nd run across the track but the other chap missed him, I left so I don't know if he did any good; #3 the next morning it was overcast and I was leaving but had a last look down the track, no sighting so I turned the car around and down the road a NS pops up onto the road, looks around a couple of times and then runs acroos the road, camera was in the bag in the passenger footwell so no pic
