Pretty sure this is a Western Grasswren seen in Monkey Mia, WA as I cannot find anything similar in my books.
I was looking for them but thought that I was unlucky. Of course, this is when I hastily pulled up the camera and shot away at a moving bird which soon vanished never to appear again. I was about to delete the terrible pictures until I realised it might what I sought. Does anyone agree?

Highly likely, Sue. The notes on the Western Grasswren in Menkhorst et al’s The Australian Bird Guide indicate that the Western Grasswren is the only Grasswren at Shark Bay where it is “moderately common” & prefers Acacia scrubland.
Thanks Woko. Western Grasswrens have now been split from Thick-billed Grasswrens and they are supposed to be around Monkey Mia carpark. The rangers told me a pair hung out around the entrance gate but no sign of them while I was there, so I went walking. Wish I had been able to get a better sighting as it is a new bird for me but it was not an ideal time of day and there was building work in progress.
I'll post a few more when I get some time as this trip added about 20 new birds for me.
