That's interesting Headsie, thanks for explaining that in laymans terms, I never quite got it before. I always shoot in RAW, so that might mean that perhaps some of my slightly crappy shots that I've deleted in the past & lost forever, might not have been quite as bad as I thought, if I'd known how to post process? Mind you, not much I can do about the larger percentage of really crappy shots, except pratice more .
