White-plumed Honeyeater.

I caught this little honeyeater in the morning sun in the trees out front.

Nice work, the White-plumed Honeyeaters can be hard to get good shots of.

Hi Guys,

For me this weekend was about becoming proficient with my new lens and getting used to the new tripod.

I decided to focus, excuse the pun, on the White-plumed Honeyeaters out front.  Mainly because they are very difficult to shoot and the trees are teeming with them.  I had plenty of opportunities but lighting is tricky, so it's been an excellent learning experience.

I think I'm ready for a field trip.
