Talking escapees, we once had a cockatoo that flew the cage that contained the tiniest of bells it loved to play with. With the bird enjoying its freedom at the top pf a large tree I wasn't optimistic to ever get it back in its cage. Then I had the idea to give the little bell a shake now and then and to my utter surprise the bird chose to leave its vantage point and come back in the cage for the bell!
