The Willie Wagtail was fluttering right around my head! Much like the behavious of the fantails, they are very adventurous birds. Spotted the Frogmouths at my grandomther's tracking another bird, earlier my grandmother told me about some birds making a funny noise at night, lucky I spotted them at day, we didn't stay for dinner. First ones i've seen since I've been in double digits, last time I saw one was at the same place, hopefully they'll come back for years to pass.

Willie Wagtail + Tawny Frogmouth
Good spotting Amateur - aren't they just amazing creatures?
SO well camouflaged.

Yeah, at first I thought there was only one for a few minutes until the other one gave me 'the stare' for disrupting them. Lucky to spot them, I was searching for yellow thornbills I heard up there when I saw them.
Sounds like normal Willy Wagtail behaviour to me. You have to love them. Frogmouths, another awesome bird although very different. Well done.

I still haven't seen those Tawnies in the wild. You are so lucky to have them. Nicely done.
Great spotting Amateur.Well done.
Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best
