In Gundagai, which I belive is the easternmost edge of its range. I think the one on the left (and 3rd photo) is a normal crimson rosella and the one on the right is of the yellow race. However, it seems to have a bit more red than I gathered from field guides- is this normal for a yellow rosella or is it a hybrid with the nominate race (which I have seen described as orange?)
The one on the left and third photo is an Imm. Crimson Rosella (Platycerus elegans) and the one on the right could be an Imm. Yellow Rosella (Platycerus elegans flaveolus) happy to corrected
