Hey guys, is this a Yellow Thornbill?
Sorry about the poor quality, he was high in the shade of a tree & would not still & play nice.
Oh and it was taken at Samsonvale Qld just North of Brisbane

I suggest a juvenile White-throated Gerygone; the under tail colours are the indicators for me; very close to the sketch on p189 of Simpson & Day 8th ed
seems too big for Yellow Thornbill
Peter
Thats not what I wanted to hear Peter lol. I already have a WT Gerygone. Thanks though. That did cross my mind but from the Gerygones I have seen they are very vocal and this didn't make a sound. I would have been able to identify it straight away if it had called.
