Young Pale Headed Rosella, pecked.

MOH spotted this young rosella in his backyard.  Looks like the butcher birds had a go at it?  Anyway, it seems to be OK now and feeding well.

It is also possible that members of its own flock attacked it.

I used to breed budgies and this would happen sometimes.

Yes, I guess anything could have happened.  Just glad it survived.  It doesn't look like a fresh wound.

Check out the eye on that pigeon!

It does look a little worse for wear, and the Pigeon looks like it just saw a ghost!

Hehe, that is some look on the pigeon's face for sure.

Bird hungry, bird want corn.  I used to know a bird that said that but long ago can't remember if it was a cockatoo or a galah.

They are just gorgeous those two together.  I almost said , the hair on the bird's head will grow back. Can't see any damage to the eye, it'll turn into a beautiful bird. Love the photos.
