I had a couple of nice visitors today. Since I haven't been able to go out looking for birds they have decided to come to me. Very nice of them.
The photo of the white-plumed honeyeater isn't very clear as I had to zoom right in.

I love Silvereyes, and their chatter. That Honeyeater is such a sweet looking little bird - do you get these often? Lovely.

Ruby I have only seen the honeyeater twice before but only briefly, this time I was able to grab my camera. Just before Christmas last year we put in a new native garden bed and most of the plants are now flowering so I think the birds are realising we are a good place to visit for a feed.

The white-plumed honeyeater appears to have web in its bill. It may well be nesting nearby.
