I saw what i believe to be a dusky moor hen at the Sydney Botanic gardens, but it was definitely brown, and the BBY listing says that this bird is dark grey or black. All else fit perfectly.

Non-breeding Dusky Moorhens are a little on the brown side compared with the dark slaty grey of those in breeding plumage. Also, juveniles are a brown-grey colour.
