been back out at the birdbath hoping to snap a few birds visiting during the drought, - dry as a tinderbox atm. On the trail of a red back wren, nothing usable yet. doh!

Absolutely beautiful shots maxhr!!  I don't have a favourite, can't possibly, love them all!  Was the Kooka taken at night/early evening?  Gorgeous backdrop in that one.  yes

Thanks Ruby, yes sunset shot on the kookaburra. I think i have a kookaburra that escaped from a circus, he flew in one day and made himself at home.

As a Brissie resident, I know what you mean about dry - just hanging out for storm season to kick in so I can get planting in the garden.

I hope it's not like last season, which didn't really kick in until that Australia Day flood.

Remarkable. Could look at these all day long, have you entered any of your photos in competitions or calendars ? That Kookaburra looks as though he has alot of character to brighten up anyones day. Want to see more !
