A few more from Bowra

Still going through my photos. Here are a couple more. I'll keep you updated as I go through them.

Spotted Bowerbird - Not a great photo but it shows the Purple on the back of the neck.

This guy had a bower right next to the cottage we were staying in, but it was near impossible to get a clear view.

Brown Headed Honeyeater

Brown Tree Creeper - These guys were everywhere

Red-Winged Parrot - Spent 10 mins looking in this tree before I found him.

Crested Bellbird - Another bird you can hear everywhere, but finding them is a whole new ballgame. As no call back is allowed at the sanctuary, I was 'pshhh pshhh pshhhing' to attract a Splendid Fairy-Wren. I was very lucky that this one showed up curious about the noise and then a few minutes later a Red-Capped Robin showed up curious about the noise also. (Haven't done that photo yet)

Chestnut-Crowned Babbler - These guys are very playful and were building nests everywhere.

Incredible pictures as the clarity is brilliant. Also a great variety.. that Crested Bellbird would be a new one for me. Love that eye.

Eager to see more. Thanks for sharing them

Lots of great birds there and wonderful photos.

The Brown Tree Creeper photo is fantastic - the colour of the tree bark matching the bird in the warm light in the foreground stand out against the dark background, makes it very effective.  Is that an early morning light ?
