Great to see the Palm Cockatoo but that Yellow-billed Kingfisher is brilliant
What a cutie
Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
Great shots, I'm sure you must have seen many great birds. I agree that Yellow-billed Kingfisher is so awesome!
Amazing birds, all would be new for me

The wonderful array of colour, size and shape of the birds in Australia never cease to amaze me! Have never seen any of these birds for myself, so thank you for sharing them with us all. Beautiful photos of delightful birds.
Happy Birding!

All would be new for me too. Wonderful photos.
That Yellowbilled Kingfisher is amazing, so recognisably a kingfisher, yet so different as well.

Well done Sue. I wouldn't mind re-visiting the area.
Samford Valley Qld.
I agree that we are lucky to have such amazing variety and colour in our birds. I had not seen any of these before so it was wonderful. The little Yellow-billed KF was a real cutie with those 2 black dots on the back of a fluffy hairdo.
I also saw numerous Graceful Honeyeaters and probably some Yellow-spotted but pictures are not wonderful as they were quite often high against the light. There were Frogmouths but think I'll have to post them as I cannot decide between Tawny and Marbled.
It would be good to revisit with more time available for birding. Moreton Telegraph Station looked very promising. I'll post some pics from other areas taken later in the trip when the photographer was more mobile.

Fantastic birds and photos Sue ... agree with everyone that the YB kingfisher is a stunner .... thanks for sharing.
Terrific shots Sue from a part of Australia that not a lot of people get to see. Cheers.
Wow what stunners! Jealous much?
I haven't seen any of those birds. Look forward to more pics.
