Once again, am appealing to anyone able to identify this bird. I think it must be an immature, but don't know for sure. The beak was very distinct, and the back was slightly olive green. There were several seemingly in a group, feeding on thrips or the like in our eucalypts. We are in Torquay, Victoria.
