Another of these birds that are difficult for me to identify, this one had a dark brown tail and light buff under, had a distinctive call, with three parts or so, one part was a high whistle.
Another bird I didn't see had a descending call, 4-5 notes, if any one knows of a bush bird with this then I can look them up and see if i recognise it.

The descending call might be a brown treecreeper.
Thank you for this, that could well have been it, but I am still not completley sure. I will hopefully go back and hear it again, it definityley wasn't showing itself.

The fan-tailed cuckoo also has a descending call and are pretty active at this time of year.
