i found a pair of corella's living in a hollow right next to another hollow full of bees.

Were these native bees or European Honey Bees, Willskrills?

I'm not up to speed on the co-existence or near co-existence of birds & bees. Perhaps somebody else has some observations to make.

European honey bees are the regular bees you see. Native bees look different.

They were probably just European honey bees.
