We just have four grevillia trees along the rear fenceline for privacy, there is always at least two of those in bloom at any given time so it is a procession of birds all day every day. We also have the big clump ot the bird of paradise alolng with a few other native annual shrubs.
The first two photo's in the thread were actually taken this afternoon only a few minutes apart.

Nice one of the eastern rosella with the other one in the blurred background - its a bird i find very difficult to get close to for a good shot.
I have enjoyed your Blue faced honey eater photos in the challenge forum too - they might be quite common in your area - but I got a real surprise and buzz seeing my very first one down here in Sydney on Saturday.

I also have struggled to get many good eastern rosella pics as well, luckily they are regular visitors so should be able to get some good shots over time.
Glad you are enjoying the Blue faced honeyeaters, one of my personal favourites. If you are able to zoom in on the one at the top of this thread you will notice it has both green and blue around the eye. Changing from immature to adult I presume.The white specs in the photo are raindrops. I will do a thread on them at a later date.
