George, do you know what nestling species are being taken by the currawong?
They take any kind of nestlings, just like the Kookaburra does. You have to remember, birds do not kill for the fun of it, (that's what humans do). Birds have to eat, feed their own young and struggle to survive. ( I can go and shop at Aldi's, right now)

indian mynas or starlings mainly in the palm trees.
In that case, put up an Aldi's sign in bird language so they all get taken.

In that case I'd be encouraging those currawongs, George!
My local Ravens quite often "raid" the local pigeon roost near the school looking for a feed, as do the Pied Currawong's, it's natures way of keeping the balance of the species.
The palm trees down the road from here have been taken over by a large community of Sacred Ibis, the top of each palm has up to two or three families nesting.
