My first thought was the the bird seemed a little bigger than the GST.

Maybe female or juvenile Satin Bower Bird?

Cheers Beef.

..... I can tell you, what my first thought was, anyone putting up a link to a website in their name , has to be trying to advertise something? So I had a look..... and yes, there are things for sale. Hmmm, I hope (?) I'm wrong? What I also found, is a video taken earlier, that shows a Satin Bowerbird. wink

As I can only speak for myself, I would be happy to help with any question you might have, if I can. But please read the forum rules and remove  links to websites  advertising and selling products.

I'm not advertising or selling anything, as far as I can tell I posted a direct link that should take you to the video I uploaded to facebook. And which shows as we now know a Satin Bowerbird.

O, sorry,as far as I can tell, there is   the name of the website in your head-line? There was no need to do that if you only wanted to find out what kind of bird the one on facebook was? So, you are not connected to Backyard Galah Cam then?( Wildlife Park, Store, Gallery....)

If yes , it's advertising, if not, I apologize.

It is where I recorded the bowerbird, so no advertising intended.

Although if you are in Europe like me, and want to see some nice Australian backyard birds, or just continue birdwatching while it's dark outside, this live webcam is highly recommended wink  uh oh, am I advertising now ?
