Hi russianbear, can you describe to a "technophobe" like me, what you did to that photo? I hope this doesn't offend you, (I apologize if it does), but to me it almost doesn't look like a real photo , it looks more like a painting. I would very much like to know though, might just look that way to me, and I'm out on a limb?
Thanks. I certainly use photoshop to improve pictures, but that's photo is real. No painting or photomontage. I just know behavior of such a smart big birds and I try to manage them. I'm looking for action and herons, pelicans are quite good actors.
Hi russianbear, as soakes says, amazing! I'm just interested in the difference, I have now have photoshop, but haven't used it ( and might never do so?) However, I would like to see the difference between the photo you posted, and the original photo. Would you be prepared to post it, so I can see the difference? Please.

That is pretty bloody good, not easy to get them that sharp in flight.
What gear do you use? Just out of interest.
Cheers, Owen.
Thanks/ That was Olympus E-510 + ZD50-200SWD. You need to keep a very small exposure time to get a sharp image.
