Are they all year rounders or visitors

I was hoping someone would be able to tell me if the little silver eye's are birds that visit in certain seasons or do they stay around all year long? I have been noticing them in my garden but only on sparse occations. I would love them to stay. What can I plant to keep enough food here for them. They have been in my potatoe vine.

Also what is the correct name for little yellow/brown birds known as Tom Tits

Thanks so much Dennis, I really appreciate the info. It is good to see the silver eyes here, they are very interesting to watch. I enjoy seeing the littlier birds that visit my garden

The Silvereye is one of the easier of the small birds to idenyify, it is the only Australian bird which has an unbroken white ring around the eyes.
Many years ago the Tasmanian birds migrating North became blown over to New Zeeland , where they became naturalized to the Fruit Growers dismay, That they survived the long trip over the ocean, is remarkable
