hi, does anyone know what this little brown bird is? I cant seem to find its name. It is always hard when there are juveniles around. It was taken in January and my first thought was some kind of scrub wren. Does anyone have an idea?
It has coppery red eyes. I live in Albany on the south west coast of WA. Farmland and plenty of natural bush.
Thanks for that, I looked up the thornbills in my book and we definately dont get the brown Thornbill here however the inland thornbill is very similar but with a reddish brown rump so possibly it is one of these. I laughed when you said they "tell you off" because that is exactly what this one was doing!
