My 17 species of Malaysian Birds

So after spending 5 days in Penang and 2 days in Singapore here are my 17 types of birds i got to photograph..... thought I would put them in their own thread as to not to overload ''bird of the week.'' (encourage by pacman hehehehehe)   No. 1 Chinese Pond Heron - Penang. No . 2 House Crow, Penang. No.3 White-throated Kingfisher, Penang.No. 4 Stork-billed Kingfisher (accompanied with the White-throated Kingfisher) Penang.No.5 Black-naped Oriole, Penang. Now this photo i have posted earlier on the 29/4/13 on garciaflats thread.

No 6. Zebra Dove. Penang. No. 7 White-breasted Waterhen.No.8 Common Myna. Penang.No. 9 Black Laughingthrush. Black Laughingthrush  in the tree.No. 10 Yellow-vented Bulbul. Penang.

Now for No. 11 Eurasian tree Sparrows.Penang.No. 12 Little Heron. Penang.Love this picture with his head under the water fishing.No. 13 Brahminy Kite Penang.No.14. White-bellied Sea Eagle. Penang.this is the orginal ,  you can see them better in the cropped image.http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5321/8766822868_1f615065d8_c.jpg i have cropped this image too so you can see them easier.  No. 15 Black-naped Tern, taken from the 11th deck while on the cruise ship, they were flying beside the boat catching fish . Melaka Waters.

Thanks pacman for your comment, and yes it is good to see birds from overseas. I went to the Bird Park in Singapore and I must say I enjoyed Fort Canning Park a whole lot more, which was a stones throw away from our hotel. The bird park had so many birds but it is a shame to see so many in cages behind wire and out of their nature habitat. They had a waterfall avairy which was quite pleasant as the smaller birds did live and fly freely but i do say I would have been alot happier just to spend the day at the park finding the birds. I only got to spend two days in Singapore and one of them was a whole day at Universal Studios the other half day at the bird park. I will definatley have to go back just to venture the parks ...oh and I saw my first squirrel there in the park too.smiley
