one hairy big moth

Took these in my garden. Huge grey moth. Someone will know what it's called?

Dunno what it's called, but it's certainly very pretty.

I couldn't find any moths in the Museum Victoria app.angry

It could be a hawk moth of some kind, though I'm no expert.

may be a swift moth. Look around your place near trees ML and look for empty pupal cases protruding like mushrooms from the ground, Good to see your  photos once more .

Would be nice to find a new kind of mothwink But I think Brandon is on the right track, it looks a lot like a Hawk Moth of some kind. But it was very large,as long as my thumb (9 cm) I have never seen one around my garden. Couldn't find any pupal cases eithercrying
