My wife and I recently went on a cruise to New Caledonia and Vanuatu. Didn't get much chance for birding, but did manage a few, some from Noumea, and the Red-footed Booby on the way home. Another new bird for me. Will post my Noumea collection in another post.
Would like to say it was in Australian waters, so I could count for my Big Year Challenge, but a lie, I cannot, tell anyway a few of my best (took maybe 200 - alot of well focused water and sky!). It was great birds in flight practice though.

Dale, impressive photos of a Red-footed Booby in flight. I'd be very happy with those photos.
You must be rather pleased with the way your photography is progressing, Dale.
Thanks guys, I am happy with these, practice is finally getting me somewhere. Still plenty if trash bin shots, but thats the upside if digital cameras.
