This litte fellow is very noisy and you can watch him while washing the dishes, he's regulalry on the banksia just outside the ktichen window. The streaks in the first of the photos are rain drops. eg near it's beak etc

Two cameras. I have a "'bird camera" (through an unfortunate series of events) an older Nikon D300 with a 50-500 OS Sigma that sits on a tripod on the balcony most times and a Sony A99 with a variety of lenses, unfortunately the longest is a 70-200, that camera mosty gets used out 'n about for landscapes and such.
