Fantastic work - all are worthy of special comment, but i will limit myself to just a few.
I really like that scarlet HE photo - wonderful pose and i like the composition
Lovely speckled warbler ... i have been on a few visits to places in sydney area looking for these with no luck. Your photo encourages me to try again as I didnt realise how beautfully marked they are
Thank you all for the kind feedback...it's much appreciated. Sometimes I photograph a bird (Warbler for example) thinking it's something else, only to find it's a bird I haven't photographed before. Always nice to get a "lifer". :)
Wow some great pics p.burdett and a good variety as well. Where were these taken?
Hi Devster. These were taken at Oxley Creek Common, Nudgee Boardwalk, Purga Reserve and Lake Samsonvale.
Yes great set. Thanks for sharing

Great set of pics! Well done with the Eastern Whipbird, they are hard to catch out in the open.

Always love a little pardalotte
Me too on the scarlet honeyeater photo - it's my fave of the bunch. The shot of the whipbird is also a good get, as they are so often hidden in scrub.
