You can almost set your watch by this guy. Flies over the Logan River bridge (Beenleigh) between 4 and 5 pm. It was 4:05 this afternoon.

Thanks WD. A couple of days later, the sun was in a cloudless sky.... and the kite didn't show! The next day was the same, and I could see them about 600mm away perched in a tall gumtree. I think the bird has me figured out.
