I was very excited to have another little bird in the garden this morning. A pair of white browed scrubwrens. First time for me here with such a small bird. I am wondering if the lack of water is making them bolder?
I still think this is a different LBB to the one I was asking about in ID's.
cheers

Gorgeous photo Birdie, I really like it. It is a thrill when a newcomer appears.
lovely capture birdie, lovely frame of the fern fronds, gives it a feeling of sharing a secret.
Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best
Yes it is definitely time for the manual focus when the little birds are shy!!
Haven't seen them again, but I would definitely say that it was the extremely dry conditions that brought them all in looking for a drink . We have now had a bit of decent rain and the little creek it was next to has small puddles in it so they would be happy now. Even the pheasant coucal came to the bird bath a few days ago.

Not this time but I have shot it before walking along the pool fence and posted it here, I can repost if you want.

Wow Birdie, first the Scaly Breasted Lorikeet and now the Pheasant Coucal, you really are on a roll of shooting birds ;(. Lovely shot thoughI like the WB srubwren, even though I've never seen one in real life, they don't come down this way.
Nice work birdie, i get very excited when a newcomer enters my garden, makes my day. Well done.
