Can some one tell me how to post a photograph please?
Is there is maximum size?
Do I use CHOOSE FILE?
Ian M
Hi Ian you need to use a website first, such as Flickr in order for you to upload your pics to. Once you have an image address there you copy the URL address to this Forum and place between the square brackets with img at the beginning then /img at the end as shown above this box when you are posting. the best size is 500 pixels wide.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Thank you
Hello Birdie.
I am non web design aware.
Could you give me an example using the web address as follows.
https://picasaweb.google.com/104524133499421433404/BirdsInBackyard?authkey=Gv1sRgCLqwvtTz96HtFg#5627490598041531346
This is a web folder in Picasa
Yinan
OK , I could do it but did you want me to tell you how to do it from a picasa web album? Is that what you mean?? I cant share from there as I do not have permission. Your image is too big though and it needs to be resized ..it is 1600 wide on the longest edge and needs to be resized to fit the forum software down to 500 pixels on the longest edge. I use Flickr as it does it easily for you :')

To Birdie
I opened a flickr account
Is this string correct?
And I assume it goes in the comments box
Yinan808
Yinan you forgot to oppen the square bracket on the /img at the end. You need to put the link to a particular photo in between with the photo you want to post.
Cheers, Owen.
Cheers, Owen.
No Yinan, that is not totally correct. Even if you had put the extra bracket in it would not have taken us to the shot. You need to grab the address from the actual shot and you need to make sure that your shots are not locked up as private. So you go to your shot in Flickr, open it up and then choose the size you want to link to here. There are various ways of doing it from there, but I always just right click once the shot is open. Then you copy the URL of the Image and paste it here between the brackets with the img in the middle of the first set of brackets and the /img at the end.
Let us know if you are still having troubles
