hello all, these birds were only 3 in number this time last year and this season 12 have turned up. the young are less white in the breast area,still a bit grey. very timid too, would like to get closer....hope this works, new at this !

Hi Roadrunner, you have posted in the right place and it is a wonderful clear shot of the pigeon but it is a large photo and takes a while to download so many people will not view an attachment. Try uploading to photobucket or Flickr (both are free photo hosting sites) and then pasting the link (as shown for images) here so it appears in the body of your post.

Yep I tried it and I have a good internet speed but it just takes too long. Learning to host and post is the best way :') . If you need help with it just yell!!

thanks for the advice. i have signed up to flickr and loaded the pic as suggested but having trouble getting it across to here. any advice would be appreciated, wont let me paste the link to this site

Dont forget to resize your pic to under 500, some times i forget & it cuts some of my picture off.... ive found that photobucket works best for me.....very easy copy / paste.....cheers

Gidday Roadrunner, underneath the box with the code link click on the medium size, then underneath that click on BBCode, then copy and paste onto here.
I find clicking on to the right size that I want and right clicking to copy image url works for me very well. Sorry..I am a bit late replying , but I forgot which thread it was in !! What isi your flckr name and are they public?

thanks for your help everyone, but just seems too hard to do the photo thing. very disappointing and frustrating, guess i can just sit on the sidelines. tried both flickr and photobucket. boo hoo

Roadrunner have you tried posting at all??? If I can see your post I can edit it to make it show the right codes
Just go to your image click again to bring up the black screen with the shot showing , then right click and copy URL
On here you just have to place that code between [img ] with no spaces and at the en again with no spaces you put [/img ]
that is it!!!
If you give me a link to your images I will post it for you from there into one of your posts..... I have the power LOL
