Morning, I am new to this forum and hope I have done this the right way.
I am trying to identify the birds in the pic. The middle pic is blurry, but I put it in to show the tail. I think this is parent and juvenile. These birds are about 15 cm long, very noisy and were in a small group. They are not frightened of humans. They have been raiding the neighbours chook house and were eating seeds in our garden. I have only seen them in the last month and have never seen them before in our yard.
Hoping someone may know what they are.
Nice photos of apostlebirds, so named because there are often 12. You are lucky to have them around.
