Hi All,
This week I discovered a large flock of Long Billed Corella's at the Gailes Golf Club.
This afternoon they were in a park on Brisbane Terrace, adjacent to the Goodna Swimming Pool on the ground eating pine seeds.
Are they common around Brisbane? I have never seen them in the wild before and was surprised to have come across them so close to Brisbane.
Thanks,
Bill
Well, apparently there is a small pocket of them in the brisabane area and it's surrounds according to my field guide, and it rates them as locally common, so ther should be quite a few in the area.
