Yes Jackie i am central Qld...they are such cuties and they just happened to be sitting in the sun preening themselves.

My camera is Canon 60D, taken with 55-250mm lens. I am looking into getting a bigger lens and was wondering if anybody has

any knowledge of type suitable for photgraphing birds etc.

How nice, do you have a lot of bird life in your area? If you wanted, you could post a question in the photography tips and tricks. There are alot of great people on here that could offer you some good advicewink

A lovely pic of these little birds.  I get to see them but much harder to photograph them.
