Bird in Box Hill back yard - loud tssp call

Can someone help with identifying a bird in a Box Hill back yard with a loud tssp call repeated but with a clear break between each tssp?

sorry Nocardia, you'll have to provide a bit more information about the bird - maybe a photo or soundtrack of the song?

I know what you mean Nocardia. I can hear that loud sound outside my window right now. It's a New Holland Honeyeater, their call sounds like a tssp, the bird repeats this again and again, always at the same pitch.

If you saw it, did it look like this one? Do you have native shrubs around? Have a good look and try to find it.

This bird is in my neighbours dense vegetation - so unfortunately no sighting. It doesn't seem to move when calling. Thanks for the comment.

Very many thanks Araminta - I've been outside trying to see it for the past half hour but just hear it. I'm from North Queensland - so not very familiar with this one - but obviously very distinctive. I look forward to seeing it!

You can try to google the sound they make, you might remember.
