The BirdLife Discovery Centre are having events this weekend too - both at the Discovery Centre and at Bicenntenial Park at Sydney Olympic Park

I won't be there on the day (I am heading to Western Plains Zoo this weekend and staying onsite!) but have helped a bit with the planning. It is largely kids-focussed. There will be bird-watching and dip-netting at Bi-Park
Sounds like a great event - good idea to create an interest in birds while the human is young!
