Lunar Total Eclipse

After Shorty posted about his Rainbow, I was wondering did anyone manage to get photos of the Total Eclipse on Tuesday? There was near total cloud cover where I live, so no moon for me. crying

Still, at least there'll be another one in October (8th, I think). But it'd be nice to see photos if anyone was lucky enough to be cloud free!

I'm also very interested, I missed it by about 4 hours...

According to online sources, the next one is on Oct. 8, so there's plenty of time to prepare for it.

Actually I took quite a few that night and continued through to about nine pm.

I experimented a bit by using the B option which stands for BULB and opens and closes the aperture as long as you hold the shutter button down.

Here is one of those photographs.

The Moon is the bright object (over exposed ) in the top left. What is the image in the lower right hand side?

Two more from Monday night, again one over exposed showing another planet and one with out the ghost planet correctly exposed.

We had zero clouds in where I am in south brisbane so I got to watch half of it until one kids called me in to run the bath
