Australian Reed-Warbler and Little Grassbird

Went out to a private Dam in Western Sydney for a fish just before sunset and took my camera incase i spotted any nocturnals. As soon as i arrived i could hear a Little Grassbird calling. I waited behind a tree hoping to get a glimpse and managed to get a decent shot of the grassbird through the narrow vision in the reeds just in time before a Australian Reed-warbler arrived and sent the grassbird on it's way. I was also able to get some better shots of the reed-warbler in some difficult confditions. No nocturnals showed up but i was glad to beat the sunset with these shots.

regards,

Vas

Yes, great work Vas, getting such a nice photo of a grassbird is difficult, let alone getting a glimpse of one

Good shots Vas. I think I'd be more interested in the birds than the fishing these days. Once upon a time fishing was everything to me. How times change. Keep 'em coming.

Well done Vas, the Little Grassbird is a tough bird to get a pic of.

Beautiful work vas catching the grassbird as he poked his beak out. Really threading the needle to get the birds in focus through those reeds.

Well done. Always good to get the best of both worlds. Some fishing toped off with some great photos. Doesn't get much better.

I have seen them in the open far away but when they are close they stay in the reeds.
