The BS Kites have had a young'n at the wetlands.
I went there today and watched the adults catching mice and handing them to the juvenile in mid air.
At one point the adult caught 2 mice at the same time and just as the juvenile came over to get one the adult flicked one in the air before passing on the other to the juvenile.
I was too far away to get decent pics and these are massive crops but you can see the mouse flying through the air.
That is an interesting sighting, well done at getting the shots.
Like Rick said, well done getting it all on a photograph. You can clearly see the mouse in the air.

Bloody clever, you and the bird That was going to be my question too, about the second mouse. How smart is that, mouse juggling. Fantastic shorty, thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Annie. I sure am glad i took a couple of shots now.
It really was fasinating to watch. I did try to get a pic of the adult catching the mouse but the camera locked on to the bg
But as i watched it came out of its dive and landed in a tree and started eating it so i must conclude he did indeed catch it
