Went to find the King Quail this morning but found this guy and his girls instead.

Hi mrt71, I love your photos, but most of all the baby Newholland HE!I haven't found any yet, they'd have to be somewhere. Thanks Araminta! Sharing the photos is quite a buzz.

Owen1 - I saw the quail coming out of a Nature Reserve north of Wollongong, NSW. They came scuttling out of the undergrowth after the council had cut the grass at a children's park. They have apparently been there for 2 months or so.

Love the quail what great shots. New holland eater is lovely i never tire of seeing them, we are quite spoilt and have them every day in our yard. They always bring their young and can have up to ten here at a time. Great shots.
