A couple of years ago, on my way to work, I noted a pair of Black-shouldered Kites building a nest next to the Great Western Highway at Eastern Creek. I just had to stop and let them hover over me in the strong wind. This is a full frame image and at this size there is just no justice really. See a larger version here
