Just a reminder everyone, that the Birds in Backyards Members Competition is currently up and running.
There are 3 categories. You can submit:
1. A photograph of a bird taken in your garden (jpeg file)
2. A photograph of your bird-friendly garden (jpeg file)
3. A 2-minute maximum digital video of you in your garden telling us about an amazing experience that you have had with the local bird life (avi file, wmf or dvd).
We will feature some or all of the entrants (depending on the numbers of submissions) in the Birds in Backyards display at the Birds Australia Discovery Centre and a panel of judges will select the best entrant in each category to win a prize. Entries close Friday January 30th 2009 and all entrants must be Birds in Backyards members.
There are quite a lot of bird photos submitted (however don't let that discourage you) but not many in the other 2 categories - so get your entries in!
