A Cockatoo on the Roof

A funny cockatoo had his eye on me while I was taking pictures today.

Cute Carla... love the claw! I do the same type of shots with butcherbirds here at home, but I never post them as there would be too many!

Thank you, Birdie. I had to post the claw.....thought it was funny!

Yes, having toooooo many bird pictures is a problem! I would look at them, though....if you posted the butcherbird pics. How about in an offsite album with a link? Go ahead....

:)

Seeing as you asked Carla, I'll add one here just for fun. they were sitting on my clothesline and the guttering and I was trying to get the clean stuff off before they could do the inevitable on it :)

The expression on the face is priceless.
I have so many and mostly on another hard drive, so I'll have to go hunting when I get a spare minute.
I was going to make a blog, but if you can believe it, I got it started after reading yours, and now can't even remember what site I was on and what the passwords were etc LOL
DUH!!!!

Cheers

What a fantastic face photo! Thank you for sharing it, Birdie. LOL about the site and password....but not meaning to offend you....just laughing with you, because I have done the same in the past. I hope you find your blog and can share as many photos as you want to! That's why I have a blog....it's a place to put stuff I have done, so I can look at it again later, move on to do something else, and share all that with anyone who might be interested.

I don't think I have seen butcherbirds yet. Great picture!

Yeay Carla, I found my blog! I don't have a clue what I am doing with it though, so I will have to practise a bit. Managed to upload one shot so far but I have never organised a web page before.
If you email me at

I will give you the details and maybe you can give me some hints on building it up LOL

Cheers

Great shots of the cockatoo, i love these cheeky birds, even though they are a bit noisey.

Thank you, cathshane. The cockatoos were quite a shock to me when I first arrived in Australia last year. My days and nights were mixed up, just after coming from the U.S.....and the cockatoos were soooooo loud in the early mornings. I've gotten used to them now, but they are still a bit noisey. :)
