Hi guys ,well this morning went to two spots to try and capture my elusive raptors, first place was Wireless hill and the second spot was Bibra lake.
Have to sat i was disappointed in both places Hardly any birds around even though it was early morning, spotted 1 hawk at Bibra lake though he was about half a km away, took the shot with the 300mm lens at full zoom just to show aa that i'm trying. The other bird ,i have no idea of what it is..

Hi Raoul
If you look back at your first post, you missed the first square bracket. [
I assume Soakes added it for you.
He beat me to it, I was going to fix it for you.
Denis
First bird is a Pardalote. On the East Coast it would be called a Striated Pardalote. Not sure of your birds over there.
Raptor looks like a very pale Whistling Kite, with those split fingertips, but I am not sure. I don't think it is an Osprey - they usually have a bent wing structure, I think.
Cheers

Denis thanks mate,so simple yet it had me completely baffled.
Yes i looked it up later on and i agree with you its a Striated Pardalote, thanks again for pointing my mistake in posting the image.

it's the kenko mx-af 2x tele mc7.....

like with the other tele's you need to master the technique on your cam/lens combo....best is try some tele's first before you decide :)
