Bird of the Week Challenge: 29th August - spring has sprung

Happy Monday everyone!

Fantastic photos of some gorgeous threatened species last week, well done.

Given Spring is only a few days away, I thought it would make a great theme for this week's challenge. So share photos that mean 'spring' to you.

There are a number of these parrots around the wetlands lately getting ready for spring. Red Rumped parrot I think.

Spring means looking for new nests!

(Not a great shot, but interesting. They were checking out a hole in the wall of an abandoned shack! They successfully used it, and as far as I know, raised three healthy chicks!)
