I've got this little bird in one hand trying to keep it warm so i'll type simply.
it may be a fledgling mannikin and looks unlikely to survive but i may have got a little water and honey down it's throat. may have perked up a bit since.

If you do it just right, a hot water bottle, under a plastic lunchbox type nest, can give warmth. The warmth coming through must be ever so gentle.
Once done, it should be checked a few times, to make sure it isn't too warm. It must be like a bit of sunshine warmth.
