Another sighting of a rarity here on the s.e. slopes of the Mt Lofty Ranges: a Crested Shrike-tit near our bird bath this morning.
I dont think they are very common anywhere, they are an awesome bird.
I guess it would be a species vulnerable to extinction in many places. However, I do remember seeing three together when I lived in Torrens Park, an Adelaide foothills suburb, back in the day. Not where I would expect to see this species.
That's fantastic Woko, would lift my heart to see that.
