I saw some birds rush past me on the water, they were 'running' along the surface, quite quickly. I just saw a blur of black. I thing that they were Little Pied Cormorants. Does anyone know if this behaviour fits??( I have seen these birds here before when easier to recognise).
Sounds like Eurasian Coots.
